HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR FLOWERS
Selected from the world's finest growers and shipped daily, Debenhams flowers are guaranteed for quality and freshness. To bring your recipient even longer lasting pleasure, we use more blooms still in bud and include flower food and care instructions with each arrangement.
CARE OF CUT FLOWERS
- Remove all packaging and trim the stems by 2-3cm, making a diagonal cut with a sharp knife or secateurs.
- Remove any leaves that will be below the waterline.
- Place the flowers in a vase containing clean lukewarm water mixed with the sachet of flower food provided, following the guidelines on the reverse of the sachet. Do not use metal containers as they neutralise the effects of flower food.
- Display the flowers in a cool, light location away from draughts, direct heat, sunshine or fresh fruit.
- Keep the vase water level topped up as necessary.
- To refresh flowers after 2-3 days, remove any drooping flowers or foliage, re-cut stems by 1-2cm and replace in fresh lukewarm water.
SPECIAL NOTES
- Lily pollen can stain clothing, furniture etc. In case of contact, leave to dry, then brush off. Do not use water.
YOUR SAFETY
- Your flower delivery includes special transit feed-and-water wadding, we recommend you do not place it on an unprotected surface.
- Flowers and plants are for display only and must not be consumed as some flowers may be poisonous.
- Always keep cut flowers and vases out of the reach of children and pets.
